My name is Michael Martin and I am an avid fly fisherman, hunter, adventurer and "do-it-yourselfer." I love being outdoors and enjoying fishing and hunting with my dog Nivos. I also enjoy building my own equipment, brewing beer, tying flies, cooking, road biking and taking on new projects.

I work at IVL-Swedish Environmental Research Institute in Stockholm where I research in the Life Cycle Assessment group. My research focuses on the intersection of bio-based and circular economy, and the implications for sustainability of tools, knowledge and design. 

Unfortunately, I am not a professional fishing guide...don't have enough patience and I like fishing too much =) However, if you are in Sweden I might be able to do some fishing with you. Not sure if I can, but maybe even as an "unofficial guide" for a small fee.
